indian national congress and india

election fever is now a days at it's peak. the world's largest democracy is going to select it's new government. But will it be the same(ideal) government that we have seen since the independence.
i have added the word ideal coz this is the world tht we all people always looks for.
so i starts with ruling alliance's main party india national congress. from womesh chandra bannerjee to sonia gandhi party has seen almost 125 years of india. from j.l. nehru to dr. manmohan singh india has seen 13 prime ministers(not including gulzari lal nanda) out of which 6 are/were from cogress.
and among those six 3 were from nehru-gandhi family. and as every one knows if there is any nehru-gandhi family person is there for either the party presidentship or priministership he/she is always the usual no. (1) irrespective of his or any party member's experience, wisdom. congress is the contender of world's largest democracy's top post. but my question is tht are they really a democratic party??a big question ...really b'coz i don't think they are. cause there is no such election for the party's top post party president, every nehru-gandhi is selected without any competition. in hindi there is a very good word for tht "nirvirodh". and one who try to contest the party election for top post by any mistake is sidelined by the party just like that.
poor sitaram kesri was the best example i guess.
i don't have any personal antipathy towards congress. infact my family is a loyal congress voter.
but the fact is , is there only one family to rule over the whole party?? to rule over the whole country? this isn't democracy this is monarchy. this is like that when u win war ur family member gets crown and when u loose u dont , simple as that.
another point secularism, a very useful issue for politician in a country like india. i mean are they secular? i agree with tht point that minorities and sc/st in india are not in good condition. but not b'coz of someone forced them to live like but of lack of awareness , education . i know many people won't agree with tht point. but that is truth. if u just take example of united states after abolishment of slavery none kind of reservation is provided to black community by any president, still they are now a days very good position in the society, i mean from basketball to president. blacks are not behind anybody anymore.

also i don't blame our contemporary politician for this immoral politics. the reason lies in our history of politics . here i would like to give an example famous george washington . Washington reluctantly served a second term as president. He refused to run for a third, establishing the customary policy of a maximum of two terms for a president which later became law by the 22nd ammendemnt of constitution of united states.

paradox to tht i don't need to tell mr nehru's example. i wonder this poor country has seen how many greedy politician. i couldn't see any reason why these politicians and their family mem. take politics as a carrier not as oppurtunity to server the country or society.
few days back veteran leader mr. bhairo singh shekhawat(ex vp of india) again expressed his will to return in active politics . i would like to remind the readers he is almost 86 years old.

i rest my case. god save india

Into the wild

today i came across this beautiful movie"into the wild". into the wild is a sort of movie that leads you to thinking about life. i bet whoever has seen tht movie can't stop him without giving a shot of thinking to his life.
well the movie chronicles the true story of 24-year-old Christopher McCandless’s journey, without compass or map, into the Alaskan wilderness in 1992, based on the book of same name by jon krakauer(now a must read for me).
chris McCandless, a highly intelligent and academically successful young man,but a lil reluctant towards the system of our civilized society, has his belief in the restorative effect of nature on man’s soul. These internal clashes led McCandless, in 1990, to renounce his parents, give away to charity his savings of $25,000, burn the cash in his wallet, change his name to Alex, and effectively drop out of civilized society.
he then spend almost two years in travelling in various parts of america meeting different people from different backgrounds But his dream was always to spend several months alone in the Alaska, living off the land in the tradition of his literary heroes Henry David Thoreau, Leo Tolstoy, and Jack London. later he spend his days thoroughly reading books and observing the each true and innocent moment of nature.
the movie is really a soul touching. into the wild has few good thoughts/lessons for life. a kind of spiritual movie but in a unique way.
@ the last part of movie he wrote in his book ""Happiness only real when shared". so true
